Self-harm incidents and stress, anxiety and depression rates have skyrocketed as schools face unprecedented levels of burn-out and staff shortages. After months of isolation and fear, many students are facing a heartbreaking school reentry experience.
Today’s teens have lost the luxury of the carefree life. Academic pressure has exploded due to a loss of classroom time that simply cannot be made up. Social development has been significantly disrupted, milestones have been missed, and the loss of loved ones leaves an empty place at the dinner table.

This Giving Season, HealthCorps is responding to the pediatric mental health crisis and increasing mental wellness programming for teens.
